Pascal Ancel Bartholdi

Pascal Ancel Bartholdi was born in and grew up in Paris. After moving to London he studied at Saint Martins, where he obtained a Fine Art BA, and later obtained a Masters in Photography from London College of Communication. He oscillates between London and Paris.

Pascal initially was a passionate painter, but later focused on photography, exploring a wide range of issues, including mythology, history, science and poetry. In recent years he has also experimented with time based media projects in digital/video format. Pascal has exhibited extensively in London and Europe. In addition, Pascal writes reviews, essays, poetry and stories some of which feature on the web.

Pascal Ancel Bartholdi is one of the founding Members of Magma Collective and has been part of the Mnemonic City project since its beginning. His impact on the project has been fundamental, not only as an artist, but also through his poetic writings and creative reviews of the Mnemonic City Project.
