Jaime Valtierra

Jaime Valtierra, originally from Madrid, Spain, studied Painting and Printmaking at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid ( 1995-2000 ), and completed a National Diploma in Illustration and Graphic Design at the “Esdip” ( School of Professional Design and Illustration ) in the same city in 2001. In 2005 he gained a Masters Diploma at the Royal Drawing School, London.

Jaime has been living and working in London for over ten years and exhibits regularly in the UK and abroad.

Jaime Valtierra is one of the founding Members of Magma Collective and he has been part of the Mnemonic City project since its beginning. His input as a fine artist has had a major impact on the artistic direction of the project and he has been one of the key organisers of the project.

Yuri Pirondi

yuri_pirondi_bioYuri Pirondi, who grew up in the rural hills of the Apennine Mountains in Italy, holds a “Master of Art” in Photography and Visual Arts from the Art Institute “A. Venturi” of Modena. He is a  filmmaker and visual artist based in London, UK. His work has been broadcast, screened and exhibited worldwide on both visual art platforms and film festivals.

His work can be described as a reflection on the relation between visual art and the cinematic experience. The approach to his work is multi-disciplinary and transverses various artistic directions, whereby he often collaborates with other artists including composers, writers, performers, experimental theatre and dance practitioners.

Yuri Pirondi is one of the founding Members of Magma Collective and he has been part of the Mnemonic City project since its beginning. His input has been fundamental both on the organization and artistic direction of the Mnemonic City project.

Ines von Bonhorst

ines_von_bonhorst_bioInes von Bonhorst is a Director, producer and video artist with over 10 years of activity. Her works range from documentaries, long and short films, over experimental films to video art installations, produced in the UK, Portugal and Italy. In her work she often explores notions of identity, forms, limits and society, while using ideas of the subconscious, surrealism and the counterfeit of being as a point of reference.
She interacts with the viewer through her video installations, with the intention to give the audience new insights in their own definition of the “real”. Ines’ work often involves creative collaborations between different artists, such as composers, performers and other visual artists.

Rebecca Filippi

Rebecca Filippi was born in 1982 in Piombino (LI), attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where she graduated in 2007. In the same year she won a scholarship that allows her to attend the International School of Graphic Art “Bisonte”, becoming an engraver and professional printer.

In addition to painting and drawing, she is also an animator, a medium that allows her to expressive herself in a way that she considers particularly close to her poetry.

Rebecca Filippi collaborated on the Mnemonic City: Florence Project in June 2014.
